What is Dartfish Technology?
Dartfish is an innovative technology where the athlete is filmed with a digital camera by the coach and the film is fed into the software, which allows the filmed material to be analyzed in ways not possible before. Movements can be slowed down and sequences can be overlaid with reference film to show differences to a model, etc. The player can make stroke improvements and get better results in a much faster time.
Am I in good enough shape to do the retreat?
Most likely! We adapt to all levels of fitness and experience and players will be grouped accordingly. You can work at your own level of intensity on and off court and our instructors are attuned to individual needs. We do suggest that you start a workout program and have some prior tennis experience before you come to WQ, so that you can get the most out of the retreat. Your training does not have to be a hard-core program…just get out and PLAY and BE ACTIVE several days a week.
Airport:
Fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) and take the Home James shuttle or Super Shuttle to your hotel. If you stay at the Homewood suites you can walk to Flatiron Athletic Club. For those flying in, WQ will provide transportation to retreat activities and facilities during the weekend.
How will I get to Boulder from the airport?
You can reserve a space on Super Shuttle. Once you know your flight information, please contact us and we will help you make the reservation and provide further instructions.
